Working around the house

I was busy with getting the house ready for a gal to come do an appraisal for the bank that holds the reverse mortgage on it. Got the walls and ceiling in the living room, kitchen, dining room and hall all painted. The ceiling in the living room and kitchen still need one more coat of paint and a few areas around light fixtures touched up, but it is coming along nicely. Also got new carpeting laid down in the living room, then tonight my brother built a surround rail on the fireplace for me.

The rest of tonight will be spent in me cleaning the kitchen as my nephew moves some things for me at the back of the house, then tomorrow I want to do one more once-over and then start getting the place decorated for the Holiday season.
