Decorative book cover materials

In preparing to get my bookbinding up and going, I have been trying to get out all of the things that I have that can be used as decoration on book covers or on the ends of bookmarks and I came across some lovely Swarovski Crystal beads that I had forgotten I had in my beads boxes. They have been tucked away now with the rest of the things reserved for bookbinding.

I want to get some flat Swarovski Crystals that can be glued onto the covers as well, since some of the more lovely antique embroidered designs I have seen include gemstones and crystals worked into the covers of the books.
