As much as I love Harry, I'm afraid that the critter would become an outdoor cat - fear of open places or not - real quick like if he started wandering around spraying. Maybe he knows that and that's why he hated that thermometer a while back was he thought I was reminding him of just how cold it is out there. ::snicker::
Anyway, the cat urine site is definitely one to remember just in case. And I am wondering if one of the reasons that Harry is so good about not spraying is that we don't use a lot of ammonia based cleaners? Cat-urine.net says: "Since cat urine is Ammonia based you should not use an Ammonia based cleaner (most household cleaners contains Ammonia) to clean the cat urine spots because it will only entice your cat to urinate on the same spot again." I wonder if the ammonia smell might, in some cases, be what starts the spraying to begin with?
The site has other information that is interesting, yes there are more interesting things than cat urine. How about toilet training for kitties? This is something that I would not mind teaching Harry and the site actually gives you the steps for how to do it.
