If I can't save my parents' home

In trying to think about what I am going to do if I can not save my parents' house, I have decided that the first thing I will have to do is condense things down as much as I possibly can. Things such as movies, documents, pictures and anything else that can be stored on digital media would go onto something such as memory cards with 4 or more gigs of space on them. That would allow me to store massive amounts of data on a small thumb drive that I could store in a row along the edge of my desk in the trailer or something.

A 4 gig thumb drive could hold all of my novels, plus additional stuff on top of that. So it makes the most sense for storage options. Add in my little laptop and my office could be condensed down to the size of the dinette area in the trailer and still leave room for me to eat at the table.
