Need to get my teeth fixed

I'm sitting here trying to ignore my jaw as one of my teeth is acting up and threatening to start hurting. There is a swollen area beside the tooth, and I am trying very hard not to mess too much with the area for fear I'll make it worse. The last thing I need right now is for that dang infection to come back.

What I really need is some kind of affordable dental insurance that will let me get my teeth fixed. I went to look over the plans offered in my area at www.dentalplans.com, and found two listings for discount dental plans in my area.

Now, take note here, a discount dental plan is not the same as dental insurance. I have been looking into dental insurance for a while, but after looking at the discount dental plans information at www.dentalplans.com I am wondering if I might not be better off with a discount dental plan. Insurance seems like a hassle to me, with the confusion of deductibles and claim forms and this and that and those other things, not to mention the wait. ::shakes head:: So, I'm going to do more looking into what discount dental plans are all about, see what I can find out on them, because what I have read so far makes them look like they would be a good alternative to insurance.

Thank you to dentalplans.com for sponsoring this post all money
from this sponsorship goes directly to save my parent's house.

NOTICE: I love trying to make this a good travel journal and while I know I fall short of my dream, I also spend a LOT of time pondering and rereading comments to see if I should post or delete as robot SPAM. So... a few rules on the comments.

I want anyone, not only Blogger members or Open ID members to be able to comment, however... Please sign your comment, if you do not it will not be published. Anonymous comments help no one and are unreliable.

Also, if you have a strong enough opinion to post a comment, please take time and make it informative - if you had a good time somewhere detail what you mean, don't just say "This place was great!!! Loved the buffet!", and if you had a lousy time please detail it, don't just say "This place sucked and the pool smelled! Ruined my vacation!" I want to feel as if you really were there when I read your comments.

If you have a website or blog where you detailed your experience it is even better, include a link to your website or blog - just make sure it is not to a SPAM site made to endorse/defame a location, because I will delete any that do not strike me as being legitimate personal sites.

Thank you for your help in making it easier for me to know what is robotic SPAM and what are real personal reviews.
