There has to be a certain level of insanity that comes with being a quilter. Here I sit, working on a very detailed applique quilt top, and what do I do to relax? I go and ponder the possible layouts for the kaleidoscope quilt I want to make next.
Now, I am not making a fully pieces tiny pieces style kaleidoscope quilt, instead I am cheating on my design. I picked up some lovely fabrics that have large decorative patterns on them and I am using those as a base for creating a pattern similar to the center on this kaleidoscope quilt.

Loved the buffet!", and if you had a lousy time please detail it, don't just say "This place sucked and the pool smelled! Ruined my vacation!" I want to feel as if you really were there when I read your comments.
If you have a website or blog where you detailed your experience it is even better, include a link to your website or blog - just make sure it is not to a SPAM site made to endorse/defame a location, because I will delete any that do not strike me as being legitimate personal sites.
