Labradoodles

I remember back in the late 80's when there was a huge fuss about this weird new breed of dog that had everyone scratching their heads. With a funny name that reminded me more of a child's drawing toy, the Labradoodle was not much more than a curiosity to the many dog lovers that were wiling to walk puppies, but not so fast to adopt the things into their homes.

Today the Labradoodle is far more widely accepted, and one of the key features of the breed is the same thing that prompted it to be specifically bread the first time - they are bread to be perfectly suited for being a non-allergen guide dog. Note that not all labradoodles are non-allergenic, and it can take up to age 8 months before you can be sure that the puppy is, indeed, going to be one of the non allergen dogs.

Still, with a name like that, what's not to love? And if you browse a few
Labradoodle Pictures I'm sure you will agree that they are adorably lovelable looking dogs. Some look more like Labradors, but some will have the tightly curled look of the Standard Poodle.
