Damn Dog's Smart

Okay, it's annoying to find out a dog is smarter than you are. Now that Trooper has died I've taken over care of two dogs that belong to my brother and nephew, Lucky and Princess. Lucky watched my nephew move the fence out from the house once and immediately leanred that he can get out if he moves the fence. Okay, no problem, block the fence ther and he can't. Wrong. He figured out a way around my blocking on the fence. Plan B. I switched and put Lucky in Princess's pen and Princess in Lucky's pen. Lucky looked around and went to the other side and escaped. So I dropped a cinderblock in place to prevent him pulling the fence again. Got back in house and thought "Next he'll pull it away from house to escape..." Princess started barking (she's my Lucky escaped alarm). Sure enough, in the time it took me to think of his next tactic he had already implimented it and was out of the pen. Okay, put a second cinder block to hold fence against house. Danged if the smark little critter did not break into his sister's pen and then release them both. Lucky is now tied awaiting me to rebuild the pens.
