Okay, working on dog pens in hot sun bad idea

Exhausting work trying to work on the dog pens in the hot sun. Need to roust my nephew out from in front of his PS2 (if he's even awake yet) and make him help me get the pens made, a lot of work for just one person to do alone.

I'd like to know what ever happend to that hyperactive energy we all had as children. When did feeling tired before bedtime creep up on us? There was a time when I could (literally) hike to the top of a mountain in an afternoon and still feel so energetic that I turned and went into the vally and started following the creek there up to it's headwaters on the next mountain. I didn't get to the headwaters, ended up messing around an old 1800's farmstead and then following logging roads for a few hours before heading back home, but still, where did that energy go to?

I need to get to a point where I can go off hiking again, but being a full time caregiver that's not exactly easy. I can't walk 3 miles from the house and still help if mom or dad need me. And let's face it, as adept as my siblings are, they just can't seem to handle stuff that I do just as a daily course of things. Yes, I know, part of being a caregiver is feeling like no one else can do your job, but criminitly Trigger, I went to bed early last night and my brother came over to help dad back to bed and dang near twisted dad's ankle. ::shaking head:: I need a treadmill. They had a real nice one in a second hand store in town for $25 at the begining of the month, but I didn't have the money or a way to get it home. Wonder how hard them things are to build? hmmmmm... I should stop messing around on blogs and go Google that.
