I was cruising the Dog Breeds site and made my way, of course, to the English Springer Spaniel page. Good information on the breed, as on the Chihuahua and Shih-Tzu's. I've had experience with all three breeds and her information is right on target with the single exception that English Springer Spaniel's are also prone to yeast infections in the ears. Still, this is deffinately a site to check out if you are looking to get a new pet and trying to decide what breed is most suited to your family and lifestyle, because she has excelent information on the breeds that a lot of breeders don't let you know about up front - such as Chihuahua's being skittish and prone to bite children and Shih Tzu's having delicate backs and breathing problems.
