It's that time of year again, when the snow lays on the Talkeetna's and Hatcher Pass. The fluffy whiteness laying in blankets look so lovely from a distance, but it torments you with the knowledge that it will not remain in the distance for long. Yes, that yucky white stuff is coming and all sane Alaskan's are starting to think that it might be best to move south.
It's a pretty sure guarantee that only a few might go past thinking it in passing, but still, there are times when sites such as this one that offers an Orlando Rental Home search start to attract the attention of Alaskans. It's nice to cruise around their website and see just what is to be found, ponder the what-if's of if I was to move somewhere with endless sunshine (instead of what will soon be endless darkness), theme parks, rolling hills filled with oak trees, warm white beaches.... So, remind me again why I am living in Alaska when Florida has so much more to offer visitors than the theme parks that come so easily to mind.
There is shopping and beaches, airboat rides through the Everglades and rolling hills filled with oak trees. I mean heck, sitting on a towel on a sunny beach sure sounds better than shoveling snow all winter long.
