It can seem like an impossibility to find all of the time that you need for things that have to be done. As a full-time caregiver to my parents and a freelance Internet writer I find it difficult to balance out getting everything I need written in a day wrote and still being able to respond at any time through the day to my parents needs.
It can be hard to pick up a writing muse once it has been scared away by the demands of life in general. Making it hard to get articles written for submission and reviews made and blogs updated - forget the websites, I've been trying, the programming required demands I can actually focus on what I am trying to do and when that is paired with needing to write content for the website my efforts at best manage to keep the websites in a state of suspension.
When returning from having to step away from an article, it can be disorienting to try to pick it back up and continue as though you had not been forced to step away. So I am trying to get my writing done in the very early morning hours before my parents wake for the day. Sometimes this works, often times it results in my being too tired to wake and get the work done that I know I need to get done.
Writing time is snuck in here and there, housework done as I pass an area that needs attention, and everything else just sort of scattershot through the day based on what is highest on the priority list at the time. At the end of the day, when I have not got everything I wanted finished, all I can do is accept that some days have less time in them than others and hope that I will find more time tomorrow to get caught up.
