Stopping Smoking

Well, after over 60 years of smoking my dad is trying to stop. After his stay for a few days in the ICU where he went cold turkey with niccotine patches he has decided that he's going to try to quit smoking. So as of today he has not had a ciggarette since last Thursday at noon. I went into town last night and bought a bunch of little snack candies like mini 3 Musketeers candy bars, min patties, and Reeses Cups for him as wekk as a bag of M&Ms. Going to try not to give him so much he gains weight, but the candies give him something to munch on when he gets really bad cravings. Plan to also get some popcorn so I can leave a bowl of popcorn by his chair for him to munch.
