Lab accident: CSI Las Vegas

Some of you may know that when I was caught up in the Las Vegas airport, thanks to US Airways booking me at a place that was not running it's shuttle any more, I bought me a CSI Las Vegas t-shirt. I mean, heck, it's one of only two TV shows I watch (the other being Without a Trace). Well, I was wearing my CSI shirt yesterday and went out cleaning up things in the yard and found a bucket that was not supposed to have been taken outside and it was all grungy so I took it in the bathroom and was planning on cleaning it up.

I sat the bucket in the bathroom sink and ran cold water into it. Opened the bottle of bleach. And my cell phone rang. Okay, answer phone with one hand, pour bleach in bucket with the other, simple - right? You know what happened. Little specks of bleach splattered back up when it hit the water and I set it aside and got a towel to dampen in the bath tub and washed my face where it had hit me. I did not realize until I was off the phone that it had hit my shirt as well.

Now my navy blue CSI shirt has eight little pale speckles on it. ::sigh::

One of my brothers said it was a custom shirt now and I told him I just look at it as an accident in the CSI labs. What else can I do?

(Although I am pondering if Rit Dye would work to get the shirt back to being the right color all over. Specks aren't very big, so may just live with it rather than risk ruining entire shirt.)
