My mom watched the Oscars last night, I was busy playing catch up so missed out on it except for the little I ran in and out watching it over her shoulder. I'm amazed by the outfits that some of them wear, and not in a good way. There was one, a beige-peach tone with looked like a crimped pattern that was kind of odd looking, but the one that caught my eye was the red and black one worn by the lady that runs Paramount. She looked stunning.

I mean, for the most part, I think the Oscars are just a showoff anyway. Designers vying for someone to wear their gown and show it off. Some of the things they wear are just.... ::shaking head::, but others. Wow. I've seen some lovely dresses and snappy outfits walk down that red carpet. Things I would not mind being able to replicate myself for a nice night out. And who needs an expensive designer design anyway? You can get that look and possibly with things you already have in your wardrobe.
