Blu-Kote, good for infections on dogs, but stains their fur

I was looking back over the blog and spied where I had been treating the foot on my mom's Shih Tzu with a product called Blu-Kote back on September 21, 2006. ::shaking head:: I was trimming his nails and fur a couple days ago and showed her where the fur on that foot *STILL* has coloration on it from that medication. The stuff did a great job treating the infection, but ghee wiz! over six months and the dog's foot *still* has purple colored dye stains on it?

When they say that stuff stains they mean it. Remind me never to accidentally spill a bottle of that stuff on the poor guy.
