Shop around for concert and sporting event tickets [paid post]

I'd been talking to my friends about the idea of going to another concert this summer - not gonna happen, but we could at least talk and dream, right? I do know that the next time we go we're sitting together dangit. No more of this me scrunched against a post behind a dang group of 6'+ guys that have to stand through the while concert. ::shakes head:: Tremendous thanks to the kindly staff of the FOX Theater in Atlanta for allowing me to stand on the sidelines with them to watch the concert. Very much appreciated since I could not see the stage past them guys I had been behind.

I do have to wonder if we had done a bit more shopping around at ticket brokers if we could have found a seat closer to my friends than where I ended up (across the theater - near the back row).

Sites like Premium Seats USA are in the business of buying up tickets for sporting and concert events and reselling them to the public. They can buy in mass quantity and get a discount, then resell it for standard price, which means that they can get you good tickets to concerts and things like Miami Dolphin Tickets even when the event is sold out.

I plan to check their website the next time I go to an event - just to see if maybe they have something a little better than what the main sites (which was where we got the last tickets) have.
