Spring has sprung and my ATV is still trapped in snow

Spring is here, unfortunately that does not mean I can ride my ATV. The cover is frozen into the ground around it and so I have the option of either being patient and waiting for the thing to thaw out so that I can get the ATV out of the snow, or I can cut apart the cover that my brother gave me for it and liberate it that way. I prefer to wait it out, even if that is not exactly easy to do. The snow should melt by the next few weeks --- I hope. Then I can go ATVing.
