Treadmill videos from Starling Studios

I got the DVD I ordered from Starling Studios yesterday. I'm very happy with how fast the shipping was on it, two days from Utah to Alaska is very good. I've talked about these videos over on my Diet Tracker blog, they're quiet walks through various places of interest such as an early morning walk along the riverfront in San Antonio (the one I ordered) or a walk through Scott Matheson Wetlands Preserve in Moab, Utah. There are several different DVDs to choose from and the lady that makes them is currently working on another one the last I heard.

I spent 15 minutes walking along the riverfront in San Antonio last night before I went to bed, I love the DVD and will be ordering the rest of her series soon. Something that I really appreciated (other than the fact that the DVD is just a quiet stroll) was the fact that the lady that makes them seems to have a good sense for what the viewer is interested in - I was watching some beautiful blue flowers along the side of the path and thinking it would be nice to get a better look at one and durned if the video did not focus in on a nice flower right at the edge of the path that could be looked at for a moment without breaking stride in the walking.

Peeks in to hidden waterfalls under overpasses and a quiet peacefulness of the boardwalk in the early hours of the morning make this a video that I think is going to quickly become a favorite of mine to watch.

With a running time of about 45 minutes I think it was, the video leaves a lot to be explored still after my 15 minute walk last night and I can not wait to get back on the treadmill and watch more of the DVD tonight.

And the treadmill is not the only piece of equipment I think this would be good for. I was thinking last night as I walked that I want to get my exercise bike set where it can see the TV and try a leisurely bike ride.

I strongly recommend looking into the Starling Studios videos if you are like me and want to be able to watch something while you are walking on the treadmill.

I'm so glad that you liked the flowers. I focus on the things that I think are interesting, but I've had some comments from some other people who own the videos that they just want me to focus on the path.

I have always made these videos for me. It's just nice to know that I'm making them for you as well.
