Hehehehe, I found Ray Harryhausen's website! This man was one of the most influential men in my desire to work on making movies when I was younger. The skeletons from Jason and The Argonauts.... man, if you have not seen that movie go get it. The skeletons are amazing! It was because of those skeletons, that I did not realize were stop motion when I watched the movie, that I decided I wanted to be a special effects artist. George Lucas got me hooked on wanting to be a camera operator and create something as stunning as Star Wars when I saw it in the theater, but Ray Harryhausen hooked me on the idea of special effects. I knew for years I was going into one of those two fields. I finally gave up on movies when I was in my 20's and went to being a writer.
I've come full circle now. I used to write as a hobby and plan to be a film maker / special effects tech. Now I will be a writer and make stop motion movies my hobby for relaxing and letting myself recharge after a stressful day.
