Dang trim won't go on straight

I'm trying to get the trim board put back around the top of the Murphy bed. It is driving me insane. Stupid little nails won't go back in the wood and the board goes on crooked when it does go on.

I'm going to need to wait for my brother to have the time to help me with it I think. He can help me line it up and get it nailed into place in the right position. I want to move the cabinet about three inches to the side anyway, so waiting works. He can help me with that at the same time. hehehe
