Code SNAFU

Okay, if you scroll along my sidebar you will find a little segment of code that shows up there:

This is my little snippit of code marking a SNAFU (situation normal, all frelled up) in the background of this blog's code.

I have no idea why that side comment will not go away and be invisible like it is supposed to. Yes, it has the leading 'greater than-exclamation point-dash-dash' code that signifies it as a comment in the code. I tried to remove it entirely and suddenly my blog was broke and would not load.

All I can surmise is that there is a flaw in the matrix. I will mess with trying to fix that flaw when I have more time to dedicate to mindless coding.
