I have decided that I need to get me a wireless network for the house and yard, or better yet find a provider of wireless Internet coverage for Alaska. I need to look into that AT&T wireless card they show on television, you know the one, it has that guy in the middle of a pond and in a hole he dug in the ground saying how the Internet can’t hide from the new AT&T wireless card.
The trouble is, I don’t think they cover Alaska. I know Sprint don’t, they have I think coverage in Anchorage and up by Fairbanks, but not in the area I am in. Which really annoys me since my Vaio came with a free trial of the Sprint Mobile Broadband service and it does me no good in Alaska. Still, I am pondering giving it a try for travel. Even if I did make my house a hotspot it would not do me much good in other places if I was traveling - huh? I'll need to look into that more and determine if it would be worth the expense with no more than I would be in areas I could use it or if there are less expensive options I can use instead up here.
