All I want for Christmas is... dual monitor capability, 2GB memory oh, and a 500GB HD!

You don't always get what you wanted for the holidays, and Overstock.com realizes that. That is why they have a contest going this week that lets you enter to win prizes (valued at up to $1,000) from their website.

Called the All I want for Christmas Giveaway it is a great contest that really can help you win exactly what you want for Christmas. The entry is easy enough, you just register with the site, then click the "Choose A Gift" button and browse around until you have chosen the gift that you want. Keep it under $1,000 then just select "Email to a Friend" and send it to the e-mail address that you are given during registration (win@overstockcontest.com) with the e-mail you registered with in the from field. That's it, you're entered to win what you really want for Christmas.

Me? I of course went directly to the computers. Found a lovely Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4 GHz Desktop Computer priced at $859.99 that has 2GB DDR2 memory and a 500GB hard drive. ::sighs happily:: Lots of room for my books and writing programs and... oh who am I kidding? I want that one for going in my bedroom as a kick tail gaming computer that I can use to find out what World of Warcraft and those things are all about. Of course, then I found a nice dual monitor setup they have there - the DoubleSight Displays DS-1900S 19-inch Dual LCD Monitor. I want to check that one out closer, might just be what I want to enter for tomorrow.

I need to refer my friends too. Von of Wayward Media, and Maggie (who will be blogging after Christmas) and of course Ronnee because she really really needs a new computer for Christmas so she can stop cussing the old one that keeps freezing up on her (Maybe then I can drag her into blogging too). And that brings me down to Dakota and Chris, who are my only other two friends (yes, I have a pitiful life, I know). I suppose I could refer family instead of friends, huh? I have a brother that is always in the market for a good computer or who I am sure would love a large screen TV. I'll need to consider who I should enter, so many choices and only five entry fields.
