Looking for the perfect ideas for shopping this holiday? If you have someone that loves to travel in your family, then here is my wish list of some of the most sought after things for travelers this holiday season.
Of course at the head of any holiday wish list this year will be the iPhone. This is the Swiss Army Knife of phones and something that any traveler would love to get for the holidays .
GPS units are another great thing for the traveler. Not only are they wonderful for helping people find their way, but they can be great for play as well. Get someone interested in Geocaching. I saw a new GPS unit the other day on TV that has a 3D display rather than being made up of lines.
New luggage would probably be welcomed, particularly if it came with all of the goodies that most people need such as luggage tags, a ticket wallet, a box of 1 quart Ziplock bags, travel sized bottles for shampoo and soaps, and other traveler’s related items that are specific to rather the person is planning world travel or local travel.
A few years ago I was going to spend a weekend in San Francisco with my friends, my mom got me a little singing hamster dressed as a hippie that sings “If you’re going to San Francisco”. Things like that can be a wonderful reminder of the fun that the person had during that vacation.
Other options would be getting printer stuff and a laminator so that the person can create custom maps of where they are going and ID cards and other travel stuff using their printer, then laminate it so it will be rugged enough to last a lifetime.
