Christmas Tree

I got the Christmas tree up, set it up on the 21st and began decorating it. I'm a very slow person when it comes to decorating the tree, particularly this year when I am having trouble finding the box of decorations that I know had to have been put in the basement with the tree last year. ::shakes head:: You would think that the things would have been at least, but I'm not finding them anywhere.

I have been pondering doing what I did several years back and decorating the tree with my mom's collection of dolls from around the world. The picture shown here is not actually of my mom's dolls, but they are the same type of dolls. Little 7.5 inch dolls with sleepy eyes and dressed in costumes from all around the world and as brides and fancy ladies.

I took wire and placed the collection sitting on boughs on the tree one year so they made up kind of a Christmas from around the world look to the tree. Was really cute, and a good way to decorate the tree when we had not yet bought decorations that year.

This year I have taken the fake apples and poinsettia flowers and decorated the tree with those and am stringing up some faux crystals I bought a while back to add some sparkle to the tree. It should look okay I think.
