Sleigh bells ring, are you listening?
In the lane, snow is glistening...
What a wonderful night for some holiday safe travel tips. Travel in the winter time can be chaotic at best, so make sure that you leave yourself plenty of time to double check your travel safety lists.
Traveling by car? Make sure that you create a list that includes such necessities as checking tire pressure, making sure the first aid kit is in the car, double checking the spare tire and making sure you have everything needed to change a tire plus basic tools and road flares. Also be sure there are blankets and extra water in the car as well as something that can be used for starting a fire in an emergency.
Traveling by air? Go online and find maps of the airports you will be stopping over at and then go over what your children or travel partner should do if the two of you get separated while on layover at the airport. Where do you want your children to go to so you can find them? What should they do if they loose track of you in the airport?
