All Alaskans?

My parents have been watching Alaska travel programs on the Travel Channel today, it is kewl to watch stuff like that and see what people have to say about the state where I live when they are talking on a traveler's perspective.

One thing I could not agree with was a gal's comment on there that "Alaskans love full bodied beer" when she was talking about the Alaskan brewed beer - I don't know how she can make a generalized comment like that about Alaskans, since everyone I know that drinks beer don't like the stuff that people call "full bodied". I'm not a beer drinker, so I'm not too sure what "full bodied beer" means, but my mom said she has never liked the stuff and I know I prefer a smoother tasting beer when I do drink the stuff.

Thankfully Alaska makes more than one kind of beer, but it still makes me shake my head when someone makes a generalized comment about "all Alaskans". It's like saying all Alaskans like salmon fishing - I hate it. I go fishing for salmon and you are going to find I am using the Andy Griffith method half the time. Tie a rock to the line and toss it in the water so no one (people or fish) will disturb your rest.
