Hawaii makes me think of weddings

Hawaii always makes me think of weddings. I don't know why, it just does. And as I am sitting here daydreaming about weddings I have started thinking about something.

You always hear about bridesmaids gifts, but it seems like the groomsmen are never remembered. Now, don't get me wrong, the groomsmen gift is a definite part of the whole wedding experience, but you never really hear a lot about it.

If you look for top gifts for groomsmen you get back lists that include cuff-links (as seen in the link above), bottles of wine, a watch, an iPod, and a multitude of other things that range from the inexpensive to the exorbitant to the just plain weird.

I guess that it would all depend on what the groom believes would be appropriate as a gift, which is one good way to get the groom involved in the wedding planning, huh?
