Working at what we love

Sometimes we are lucky and what we do for a living is what we love. My life is being a writer, it is what I do best and what I love, well, okay, maybe I don't write *that* good, but it is what I love and I can not imagine doing anything else for a living. I would love to learn to restore old cars like my brother, he has done classic car restoration for as long as I have been writing. It is so fascinating to watch him take a old beater of a car into the garage and then drive it back out fully restored. He has a fairly full garage of tools, but someday I would love to get him one of those plasma cutting deals. I know he would like to have one, and I am sure that the uses for it in automotive restoration are nearly unlimited so I think it would be as valuable an investment in his work as printer paper is in mine.
