The All Alaska Sweepstakes Race will be kicking off up in Nome soon and the Northern Light Media All Alaska Sweepstakes blog has more great pictures of the activity in Nome leading up to the race day. Things seem to be getting very exciting up there in Nome and I know that the mushers have got to all be excited about the possibility of winning the $100,000 purse that is at stake this year. I know who my favorite to win is, and I am betting that regular readers here know that as well. ;-)
There are 16 mushers listed as being entered in the All Alaska Sweepstakes right now including Jeff King, Lance Mackey, and Cim Smyth.
