All Alaska Sweepstakes

I find it very fitting that part of the entry fee for the All Alaska Sweepstakes race is 1 oz of gold nuggets. I'm going to be looking a bit more into the All Alaska Sweepstakes race later on, when I have some more free time on my hands, but not for any articles or anything. I just want to find out more about it and the history of this now 100 year old race from Nome to Candle, Alaska.
