Summer Fitness

In getting ready for my summer walking program, and continuing my weight loss efforts, I have been looking into a range of fitness equipment that can round out the stuff I already own. I want to get myself one of those powered treadmills when I replace the treadmill that I have right now, and that will be very soon, since I am unhappy with the way the track slips to the side if it is not aligned just right on the rear bar. The treadmill has a break in the tube that holds the rear bar, so it keeps slipping out of position when I am trying to walk on the treadmill. It's hard to exercise when you can walk for 3 minutes then have to reset the tread under you.

This summer I am going to start walking outside as much as possible, so I will hopefully not need to buy a new treadmill until the fall. That leaves me able to look into other kinds of fitness equipment to help better round out my workout routine. I would really like to get a stationary bike too, since the one I own is over 20 years old, so I might go for one of them first.

At the moment I am researching the new trail running shoes, seeing what the differences are and how they all compare.
