Waiting for spring

I have been watching the snow melting off outside, thinking about how great it will be to get out and go hiking soon, then it snowed a inch or so the other day. Melting off now, and with the Chinook winds hitting the hillside in Anchorage and starting to stir things up out here I am in hopes that the rest of it will be melted off by the end of next week. That would be nice. I've seen it all melt by Easter before, had green grass in the yard when hiding Easter eggs one year.

I had wanted to be down to 165 by this time, but I have at least not gained any of the weight that I have lost, so I won't complain. I am starting to think about diet pills as an option for getting to 165 by my birthday. I keep meaning to do some research on the top diet pills for my diet blog anyway, so I guess it would not hurt for me to actually test out one or two to see if they actually work for me, huh?

I don't like taking pills, but there are some diet pills that have been on the market for a long time now that seem to be doing okay for others, so that might just be my best option. As soon as the snow melts and there is no longer a ice rink in the middle of the trail I am going to start going for walks. At the moment the walkways around the house are all covered by sand tossed out to keep people from slipping, but when I went to the trash can yesterday I almost fell several times. Not exactly jogging weather yet. And speaking of the trash can, I have another bag to take out that has chicken from last night in it, so will get back to cleaning house as exercise.
