Mystery on the Iditarod trail solved?

You might recall a few days back in my post about Iditarod dogs and technology where I commented on the strange goings on I was noticing with Martin Buser's GPS tracker. Well, I seem to have figured that one out I think.

The Crow Village Iditarod Blog has a post up about A Couple Unanswered Questions and one of those unanswered questions was "What happened to Martin Buser's GPS tracker?" - according to the Crow Village Iditarod Blog, when Buser took his 24 hour layover, he handed the GPS tracker to a pilot and asked the pilot to fly the tracker around some. They also note that that is the point where DeeDee Janrowe started showing up on the GPS tracking stuff, so apparently the thing was taken away from Buser and handed off to DeeDee Janrowe to carry? If that's how she showed up on there then I'm glad, I would much rather watch her than Buser anyway.

I'm going to go check the local news sites when I have some time and see if I can determine just what happened there.
