Getting ready to go on a vacation can be a chaotic challenge, but there are some things that might just make it a little less chaotic when traveling to a golf destination.
First off, make sure that you have packed your clubs to arrive safely and made sure that you have coverage in case they are lost either in transit or stolen at your destination. See the last post for more on this.
Second you want to look into the golf clubs in the area were you are going to be taking your vacation. For example, lets take a look at a Branson condo golf vacation in the Thousand Hills Golf Resort.
Thousand Hills Golf Resort offers visitors a range of condo rentals from Jacuzzi King Suites up to four bedroom, four bath luxury units. The Four bedroom units can sleep up to ten guests, so you could plan a personal tournament with your friends or co-workers and share expenses for a golf vacation. Maybe make plans to meet all of your online buddies from the golf forums and see just who really does play better?
You should check to see if your chosen resort has a store you can buy things such as tees or golf balls at. Or maybe vouchers for local stores. The Thousand Hills Golf Resort has vouchers for coupon books to local malls available to guests as well as a free Bronson vacation guide.
Amenities are an important part of any destination, samples from the condos at the Thousand Hills Golf Resort include: private patio/deck, premium cable channels such as HBO and ESPN, washer and dryer, dish and clothes detergent, and my personal must have - free high-speed internet.
And finally, when you have found a golf resort that looks ideal, do some checking online to see how past visitors have felt about the destination and the rooms. Look for sample room pictures and be careful to check if the room you are seeing is actually similar to the one you will get. Many placed will put up pictures only of their most expensive rooms and suites.
