Indiana Jones' next stop in Raiders of the Lost Ark is Shanghai.

Before you plan a trip to Shanghai, you might want to check out the Vitrual tours of the Shanghai Museum at their website. You may have to download additional plugins for your computer, but once that is done you can take a virtual walking tour of parts of the museum to get an idea on what you can expect when you get there.

Other things to see if you get the chance to visit Shanghai are the Yuyuan Gardens, located in the center of the Old City in Shanghai. These gardens are over 400 years old and are said to have been first established by Pan Yunduan, as a private garden in 1559. Pan Yunduan was said to have spent almost 20 years building the garden to please his father Pan En during his father's old age. The garden covers 5 acres and is divided by undulating "dragon walls", the walls having gray tiled ridges terminating in a dragon's head.

A sight to be sure you see is the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, located in the Pudong district beside the Huangpu River. The tower is a magnificent lighted tower standing over 1,500 feet with a series of 11 spheres included in the tower's architecture.
