Travelers get up to $130 off on United Airlines tickets due to fuel surcharge being dropped
Travelers got a accidental lucky break this past week on booking their flights on United. A clerical error caused the airline to drop the furl surcharge on domestic flights, which could be as much as $130 round-trip. A United Airlines spokesman said that the surcharge was accidentally eliminated on domestic flights that were booked this past Thursday on United, and that anyone who had booked a fare without the fuel surcharge would not be billed for it later on.
