Autumn walks suspended

It is most definitely autumn here in Alaska. The leaves have faded over the past couple of weeks from vibrant green to a mix of greens and yellows, into golden oranges and now the trees have dropped man of their leaves into a golden cascade of color down to the ground.

I had been going to get out there and do some exercising this year, but first it rained constantly, and then after my mom died... I just don't have the ability to take off on long walks like that, leaving my dad here alone. I need to wrangle up someone that can come up and sit with my dad a few times a week to let me get out and walk while I can this year and maybe help out next year when I can get out there in the spring and summer.

Walking is by far one of the best fat burners there is, but my treadmill I had got is busted so I can't use it, and a new treadmill is far too expensive for me to get. So, I'll just have to see what I can do to organize someone helping me out with my dad for a couple of hours a day three times a week while I get out there with the puppies and hit the trail to try and keep up with my weight loss goals.

I'm down in weight at the moment to about 183, but that is all from stress and being unable to eat and more stress and .... yeah.
