Insurance

I've been looking into life insurance for my dad, something I had looked into for my mom before she died, but we had not actually got it set up for her. Now me and my dad are looking into it for him. I'm not sure why insurance has to be so damn confusing, I've been trying to get myself health insurance for years, but can't find anything that I can afford. Which is why there is currently a bill for me down at the local health clinic - they're the only place I can afford to go to and I pay them as I am able to come up with the money to pay them.

I've got a request in to AARP to send us information on stuff for my dad, and I'm looking at other insurance companies for whatever they have that might cover my dad. Trying to sort out what ones cover him is not easy, though, it's kind of a hunt and read the site and then hunt again.
