Alaska - Canada Border

I think my next stop point on the Ultimate Road Trip is going to be the Alaska-Canada border. I'll need to do a little research on that before I get to it, figure out what is needed and what is not allowed.

I know I can't take my handgun out of the State unless I ship it via gun dealers, so I'll be leaving it here and if I have lost my parents home (::cringes at the very thought of that::) I will eventually have someone here ship it to me somewhere down there.

Other things I need to check into is exactly what all shots and everything I need for the dogs. I know they'll need rabies vaccinations and current health certificates at the very least.
