The hardest part of travel for me is deciding what I will want to wear when I get to my destination. For example, when I went to Las Vegas for that business convention a while back, I found myself trying to sort through things and figure out what to wear for the three days of the two conventions I was attending, two separate meet&greet parties, dinner in the hotel restaurants, and for relaxing in the hotel room to get work done in the free time I would have while I was there. Then there was sleepwear, undergarments, workout wear and swimming suit.
Alas, I ended up leaving the workout wear at home, as well as the swimming suit and the corset I had thought I would need. Mind you the workout wear was the only one I left behind intentionally, and the only one I really missed leaving was the corset when I had to dress up nice for going to the Tao. Clothing is not the only packing dilemma I have, but it is certainly the biggest when it comes to space that is taken up in the bag.
I want to start looking at some packing issues and what can be done to work around them, so if you have any issues you have with packing - from packing too many clothes to how to take home an over-sized souvenir (I know that one as well, 2' long Dragon - Oi!), maybe how to get all those specialty toiletries into a small Ziplock bag .... let me know and I will see what I can come up with for answers to the troubles.
