Just when my sister had talked me into thinking about getting a Facebook account, I hear on the news that Facebook has changed their terms of service so that any images posted to the site become the property of Facebook. Say what? Their property? I don't think so.
I don't mind granting a site electronic publication rights, particularly if I am a member of their site, but if they want first electronic publication rights, or sole publication rights, then they better be paying me for those images. Especially if they think they are keeping those rights and images even after I leave their site.
I might still get a Facebook account for networking, but I'm not about to give them any images.
