My favorite travel companion has got to be my little iPod. Being able to load audio books, TV shows, movies and more onto the iPod and slip it into my pocket is one of the best solutions I have found to the extensive boredom of waiting in lines or sitting at a doctor's office or waiting for someone to get ready.
Today I took my dad in for a blood test and was able to kick back and listen to an audio book in the waiting room. Making the time pass smoothly and without the normal annoying look for a clock every few minutes.
I have got to the point now where I never leave home without my iPod. I might forget my cell phone at times, but never my iPod.
