Missing kitchen trivet

Going through some things in the kitchen, I realized that I can't find the old asbestos round for setting hot pans on. It was one of me and mom's favorite old kitchen deals that we had, since you just can't find that kind of thing anymore. After asbestos was determined to be the primary cause of mesothelioma things like that vanished and even the second hand stores tend not to sell them when they get them in.

It looks like just a paper trivet with a metal band around the edges, so I hope that some helpful person did not decide to clean up the kitchen and 'toss that old thing out'. That would upset me. It normally goes on the counter, back in the corner leaned against the wall or hanging on a hook on the wall, so maybe it got tucked in a drawer or cabinet. I'll look later.
