Home at last! I am still mentally exhausted and my dad is just sleeping after all that running and running the past week. House had some disasters happen to it, but nothing too major. Carpet damaged and old sofa got torn up some by bored and unhappy dogs, but otherwise just general chaotic stuff like poor teddy bear I had given one of the dogs was shredded... still ain't found the poor thing's head. House definitely needs aired out, but is at the moment too cold outside to do that so I'm going through it giving it a good cleaning for today and will air it out as soon as I can.
One of the things that you never hear about on vacations - the return home to what's left of your favorite pillow being shredded across the floor by a vindictive dog that was left locked inside by the dog sitter. ::wince:: Can't blame the dog, though, it was just bored outta its little mind having been used to mass amounts of constant attention from me. If I can save the plant I'll be happy, poor thing seems to have got knocked head over heels by the dogs.
