It was partly cloudy when me and my dad took his Caddie to get it properly registered the other day, which means that it was partly stifling as well. You see, the windows don't work on the car. It happened a few years ago, when my mom owned it, the windows began malfunctioning. Then they stopped working on the passenger door, so my brother fixed them with some direct wiring so that they worked from the driver side controls.
That worked for a while. This year my sister had the car for a little while, and during that time the windows stopped working entirely. I think maybe the motors have burned out, but I'm not sure. What I am sure of is that I need to get the car fixed before it will be something my dad can ride around in on hot days. So, that's my weekend project - read through the repair manuals and sort out what needs to be done to get the windows fixed, and probably surf around online to see what the price of window motors is - just in case I determine that is the problem.
