I swear that the health care bill is going to drive me insane. The information seems to be rocking this way and that way and it is not helped in the least by the assorted lies that have been made up about it by various groups. Trying to sort out what the health care bill is going to do for my health care is hard enough without having to wade through what is truth and what is fiction.
This morning they hit on a whole new can of worms with the information that there would be huge fees levied on anyone that does not get health care. Wait - wtf? So, if I can not afford to get health care then I will be charged a fee for not having got it? Dudes! I make $5 a day on a good day, all too often I make nothing. Have you ever heard the old adage of squeezing blood from a stone? I need to start sorting this stuff out and figure out what in the heck is going on, thought I had known, but apparently I have a lot to sort out. From the sounds of it their plan is to offer an affordable alternative that I might not be able to afford and then if I can't afford it to charge me anyway. Are they going to give me employment that I can do from home so I can earn the money to purchase their health care?
It is no wonder there are so many of those Medicare supplement programs out there, even the stuff like Medicare, that should be fairly straightforward so seniors can not have to worry about their health care issues, needs a lot of help and massive translations on just how it all works and what is and is not covered. I swear I would go bonkers if it was not for TriCare taking such good care of my dad for his years of service to the country and I have no idea what in the hell I am going to do someday when I am trying to sort out Medicare and all of the supplements and plans and everything else that it has.
Of course... I might not even qualify for getting Medicare when I am older, since you apparenlty have to have worked a certain number of years to qualify for it. Huh?
I think I'll just to back to bed or play some kind of video game or something and hide from thinking about any of this for a few more hours... I do that enough and... yeah. I do that enough and I'd be completely burried. Huh? ::wanders off to see what the heck they're talking about on the health care bill today.::
