Family Get-Togethers

I am starting to wonder if I am ever going to slow back down to the point where I can think. It seems like every time I think I will get a little bit ahead on stuff something else happens that I am tossed about in a random direction that keeps me away from the things I want, and need, to be doing instead.

At least Halloween was a success. At the last minute, the night of the 30th, I posted to the family site an invitation for everyone to stop in and visit for Halloween. It was great fun and we got a lot more people show up than we had actually anticipated could make it. Ended up with something like 10 adults, plus me and dad make 12 adults, plus a couple that showed for a bit then had to leave makes 14 adults), then there were 7 kids of varying ages from 2 years old and up. Was a really enjoyable get-together, and now my dad is eagerly awaiting Thanksgiving and Christmas so he can have everyone come up to visit again. I am already stockpiling stuff for both holidays and figuring out how to move things for putting the table out for Thanksgiving dinner.
