School chairs

I was browsing about an internet image archive the other night looking for images that I could use on one of my websites and found this cool image of one of those old fashioned school chair and desk combination deals that was sitting out in a field of overgrown grass.

I used to have one of those classroom chairs deals with the built-in desk on it. Always waned one of the fancy old ones with the metal scroll work side legs with the bench seat style chair on the front and the desk behind it that are supposed to be put in a row so the chair of one student is matched to the desk behind the next student. It is a very impractical setup when there is just the one desk and chair piece, but I have always felt the style has a charming look to it that make me think of cozy one room school houses and comfort.
